Holders through to final
Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph and Ferryhill Town served up excellent entertainment in last years Colin Waites final when Ferryhill came from behind twice to win 3-2. The duo met again today in this years semi and Ferryhhill were 3-0 winners through Billy Snaith (2) and Brad Wilkinson. Heighington or Crook Wanderers await in the final.
Middlestone Moor regained top spot in the league with a 5-0 victory over Howden Australian. Scorers Ross Morrow (2), Aaron Jackson, Adam Watson and Joe Richardson.
Willington WMC moved up to third with a 4-1 win at home to Evenwood Town. Danny Lee bagged a hat trick and Kenny Willis completed the score sheet.
