Willington needed maximum points from their remaining four games tohave any chance of taking the title They led 1-0 at half time at Stanhope SSC through Micky Hull but Sam Green equalised in the second half to secure Stanhope a share of the points.
Heighington consolidated sixth place with a 7-3 victory over
Wynyard The Stables. Martin Butterworth bagged a hat trick for Heighington with further goals courtesy of Kian Fletcher, Shane Dodson, Noah Burnip and Sean Carr.
Evenwood Town wound up their season with a 4-3 win at Crook Wanderers. Adam Blair, Connor Box and Danny Smith scored for Wanderers.
