Telegraph held by Heighington

Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph remain the only unbeaten side in the league following a 3-3 draw at home to Heighington. Niall Douglas (2) and Sam Thompson were on target for Telegraph while Sean Carr, Luke Catchpole and James Hodgson replied for Heighington.
Norman Wright Cup holders Middlestone Moor dominated the early stages of their quarter final against Stanhope and led 4-0 after twenty minutes. They added a fifth 10 minutes into the second half and Sam Green's late penalty for Stanhope was mere consolation. Ellis Codd (2), Reece Barras, Scott Maughan and Aaron Jackson were the Middlestone Moor scorers. "Taught us a lesson today" reports Stanhope manager Dean Tinkler. Adding "Best bait in the league".
Evenwood Town progressed with a 3-1 win at Ferryhill. Ash Murphy was the Ferryhill marksman.
Willington WMC booked their spot in the last four with a 2-1 win at Wynyard. Jack Crotcher bagged two penalties for the victors with Anthony Carter pulling one back for the home side. "Wynyard were very unlucky" reports Lee Genner.
Crook Wanderers completed the semi line up following a 5-1 win at Stanley Town. Goals from Blair, Smith, M Richardson, Markhim and an own goal saw Wanderers through while Cameron Askew pulled one back for Stanley.

Wolsingham won through to the semi final of the Alan Britton Memorial Trophy with a 13-1 win at Howden Australian. Dagan Taylor top scored with five and there were further goals from Chris Elliott (4), Sam McKellar, Jake Heppell, Charlie Dixon and James Pugh. "We were class for 20 mins then they scored twice, heads went down and we were well and truly punished " said Australian's John Chambers. Wolsingham's reward is a home semi final against the winners of Willington WMC v Stanhope SSC.
