Willington WMC's interest in the Norman Wright Memorial cup ended with a 4-0 semi final defeat at Evenwood Town. Gareth McMahon (2), Callum Crook and Rob Worthy scored the goals to set up a final against Stanhope SSC. Today's defeat means Willington qualify for the Colin Waites Cup and they face a trip to Howden Australian in the semi final.
The Auckland Charity Cup clash between Coundon Cons and Middlestone Moor ended 2-2. Jordan Maughan and Dylan Howe scored for Cons with Mykel Summerson and Ethan Grayson responding. Coundon won the penalty shoot out 5-4 and will meet Evenwood Town away in the semi final.
