The Final Whistle - 23 September 2023

Stanhope SSC are top on goal difference following a 7-1 win at Howden Australian. The visitors took a 2-0 lead but Howden pulled back to 2-1 through Lucas Baker. After a close opening twenty minutes Stanhope got well on top and Howden had keeper Callum Box to thank for a string of fine saves. Lewis Martin bagged a hat trick with further Stanhope goals courtesy of Ian Peadon (2), Aydan Bowers and an own goal.
Middlestone Moor are one of four sides on six points after a 3-1 victory over Evenwood Town. Reece Barras, Mason Morrow and Ellis Codd were the Middlestone Moor marksmen while Gareth McMahon pulled one back for Evenwood.
