Howden topple leaders

Howden Australian picked up their first points with an excellent 4-3 victory over leaders Willington WMC. The WMC led 1-0 at half time but Howden fought back to go 2-1 ahead. The game swung back in favour of Willington who came back to lead 3-2. The home side levelled at 3-3 and Josh Esteris bagged their winner from a corner. Other Howden goals came courtesy of Esteris, Andre Cummins and Luke Robinson while Willington responded through Liam Bennett (2) and Morghan Claydon "We are buzzing" reports Howden boss John Chambers. "All credit to John and his lads" commented Lee Genner.
The new leaders are newcomers Coundon Cons - 2-1 winners at Evenwood Town. Callum Teasdale and Luke Challinor secured the points to take Coundon top on goal difference.
