Coundon up to second
Only goal difference separates leaders Middlestone Moor and Coundon Cons after the latter overcame Stanhope SSC 6-2 today.
Coundon took a 2-0 lead "against the run of play" but Stanhope pulled one back through Matthew Price. Stanhope's second from Ryan Embling pulled them back to 4-2 in the second half but Coundon added two more and the dales side had a man sent off to round off a dismal day. In contrast goals from Callum Teasdale (2), Liam Gill (2), J Maughan and Dale Saddler ensured it was a very good day for Coundon.
