Taylor bags Willington winner
A good day for the league with two games in the Bob Strophair Durham Minor cup producing two wins.
Willington WMC went ahead at home to Durham FC Development but the visitors bounced back to lead 3-1 and 4-2. Willington fought back to 4-4 through Morghan Claydon (2), Michael Hull and Jack Franks before sub James Taylor bagged what proved to be the matchwinner.
Evenwood Town were 4-2 winners at home to Whickham Under 23's. Scorers Gareth McMahon, Jamie Lamb, Marc Bell and Liam Blithe.
