Middlestone Moor and Evenwood progress in County Cup

Goals from Ross Morrow and Willis White secured a 2-1 win for Middlestone Moor at Belmont United currently second in the Wearside League first division.
Evenwood Town are also through after a 4-0 win at home to Gateshead Redheugh 1957. Gareth McMahon and J Yorke both scored twice for the victors.
Howden Australian went down 6-2 at West Auckland Reserves. Lucas Baker and Olly Johnson were the Australian marksmen.
Darlington RA Reserves 9 Stanhope SSC 2 suggests a one sided game yet Stanhope were well in the match for long periods. RA led 2-0 but Stanhope pulled a goal back through Lewis Martin.
The home side went 4-1 up but Stanhope came back to 4-2 from a Sam Green penalty. In the latter stages RA scored a further five goals and this time there was no reply from Stanhope.
Coundon Cons are also out after going down 3-0 at home to Winlaton Community.
Willington WMC faced tough opposition in Hetton Jnrs currently top of the Wearside League first division but the teams were level at 2-2 after ninety minutes. Michael Hull and Bradley Burns scored for Willington. Hetton won the spot kicks 5-3.
