Leaders maintain form

League leaders Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph continue to set a hot pace at the top and they maintained their unbeaten run with a 3-0 win at home to Willington WMC. Scorers Niall Douglas (2) and Mason Steed.
Aaron Jackson bagged five for Middlestone Moor in a 10-0 victory over Evenwood Town. Further goals from Adam Watson, Reece Barrass, Scott Maughan, Lewis Powley and an own goal. Jackson's total for the season is 23 in just eight games. When asked if he was on a goal bonus sec Stuart Savage replied. "If he is I'm not paying it"
Stanhope Town's good start continued with a 4-1 win at Stanley Town. George Lee (2), Ben Moore and Ian Peadon were the Stanhope marksmen while James Fawcett reduced the arrears.
Ashley Murphy bagged a hat trick for Ferryhill Town in a 7-2 win at Wolsingham. Connor Whitelock (2), Thomas Rawlinson and Josh Gash completed the Ferryhill score sheet. Simon McKellar and |Tyler Hutchinson responded for Wolsingham.
Heighington shaded a seven goal game at Wynyard The Station. Martin Butterworth, Will Mawston and two own goals earned Heighington their 4-3 victory.
Crook Wanderers beat Howden Australian 8-2 with goals courtesy of Ben Rich (2), Adam Blair (2), Johnny Winter, Connor Fletcher, Mitch Richardson and Danny Smith. Connor Box responded with a brace for the Aussie. Wanderer's Steven Fairgrieve said "Absolutely well done to the Aussie lads for fighting on".
