Stanhope through to final
Stanhope SSC won through to the Norman Wright Memorial Cup final in beating Howden Australian 12-0 in today's semi.
Jack Barker top scored with five goals while Ian Peadon bagged a hat trick. Sam Green (2), Matthew Price and an own goal completed the score sheet. Evenwood Town or Willington WMC await in the final.
Middlestone Moor continue to set the pace at the top with a 5-3 victory at Evenwood Town. Mason Morrow, Mykel Summerson, Joe Richardson, Reece Barras and an Ellis Codd penalty secured the points for Middlestone Moor who remain three points ahead.
Willington WMC slipped to third following a 5-2 defeat at home to Coundon Cons. Jason Brasauskas (2), Liam Gill (2) and Callum Teasdale scored for Coundon who move up to second. Mitchell Raine and Jack Evans replied for Willington.
