Excellent point for Howden

Howden Australian picked up a well deserved point when they drew 2-2 at home to Wynyard The Stables. Luke Robinson and Lucas Baker were the Aussie scorers while Peter Harbrom bagged both for Wynyard
Stanley Town returned to winning form with a 2-0 victory over Wolsingham. Kane Barron picked up a pair for Stanley.
Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph were losing semi finalists in last season's Bob Strophair Durham Minor Cup but their run in this years competition ended in a 3-2 defeat at home to Evenwood Town. Dale Dunn, Leon Clark and Jamie Lamb scored for Evenwood with Niall Douglas and Stuart Cameron replying for Telegraph. Telegraph's Declan Middleton said "Best of luck for the cup Evenwood".
Stanhope SSC won through after coming back from 0-1 and 1-2 down to beat Sunderland Wearmouth 6-3. Ian Peadon bagged a hat trick with further Stanhope goals courtesy of Sam Green (2) and Matthew Price.
Willington WMC are out after losing out by the only goal of the game at Hartlepool Pools Youth while Crook Wanderers interest ended in a 4-0 defeat at Hetton Jnrs.
Middlestone Moor became the first side through when opponents Barnard Castle U20's withdrew.
