Crook Wanderers set up semi final

Crook Town Wanderers won through to the semi final of the Colin Waites cup with an excellent 3-2 victory at Heighington. Adam Blair (2) and Dylan Sherratt scored for Wanderers with Heighington replies courtesy of Martin Butterworth and Shane Dodson. Wanderers reward is a trip to Ferryhill Town. Fergie reports "We were 2-0 down, came back to lead 3-2 then Heighington scored a last minute equaliser that was ruled offside. Cracking game."
Middlestone Moor reached the last four of the South Durham Bowl with a 4-2 win at Willington WMC. Mason Morrow, Willis White, Mykel Summerson and Rhys Porter were the Middlestone Moor marksmen while Willington replied through Kenny Wills and Conor Winter.
Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph are also through after shading a close encounter at Wolsingham 2-1. Glenn Hendrix and Zack Barrigan saw Telegraph over the line while Conner Ward bagged the Wolsingham consolation.

In division two Ferryhill Town moved up to second on goal difference in beating Stanley Town 5-3. Alex Quinn (2), Kyle Quinn (2) and Jonathan Smith scored for Ferryhill while Stanley responded through a brace from Cameron Askew and Keiran Wailes.
