Ferryhill retain cup
Ferryhill Town retained the Cavaze Property Improvements sponsored Colin Waites Cup with a narrow 3-2 victory over Heighington.
Brad Wilkinson put Ferryhill ahead on 15 minutes and they added a second through an own goal. Sean Carr reduced the deficit with a goal for Heighington on the stroke of half time.
Connor Whitelock restored Ferryhill's two goal lead on the hour. Heighington pulled back to 3-2 through Martin Butterworth in the 85th minute but Ferryhill withstood late pressure to clinch victory.
