Revenge for Glaxo

Barnard Castle Glaxo Rangers were 3-2 winners at Evenwood Town in the only first division game. J Foster, J McDougall and an own goal made up the Glaxo scoresheet while McMahon and Thompson replied. The win was revenge for Rangers as Evenwood won the reverse fixture 5-1.
Wolsingham are clear leaders in division two after winning the top table clash at Ferryhill Town 2-1. Connor Ward and Sam McKellar were the Wolsingham marksmen while Alex Quinn bagged the consolation for the home side.
Two previously unbeaten sides met at Heighington and a 3-2 victory over Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph saw the home side up to second. Shane Dodson, Phil Park and Dale Farnworth were the Heighington scorers while Ryan Peart bagged both for Royal Telegraph.
Stanhope SSC reached the last four of the Alan Britton cup with an 11-2 victory at Stanley Town. Sam Green scored four for the victors with Aydan Bowers notching a hat trick. Further Stanhope goals came courtesy of Dean Tinkler (2), Ben Shuttleworth and Ryan Embling. Keiran Wailes and Arron Profit replied for Stanley.
Middlestone Moor overcame Barnard Castle FC 2-1 in the Weardale Cup thanks to goals from Ellis Codd and a Ross Morrow penalty. Liam Robinson was on target for Barney. A trip to Glaxo Rangers awaits Middlestone Moor in the last eight.
