Ferryhill through to final

Ferryhill Town won through to the final of the Colin Waites Cup on penalties after their semi final with Crook Wanderers ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. Joe Wilson's goal for Ferryhill was cancelled out by Danny Smith. The resultant penalty shoot out ended 5-4 to Ferryhill. In the final they will meet the winner of Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph v Wolsingham. The final will take place on Easter Monday at Tow Law Town kick off 11am.
Willington WMC reached the semi final of the Alan Britton Memorial cup with a 3-0 win at Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph. Jak Crotcher (2) and Chris Storey scored the goals to set up a visit to Stanhope SSC in a repeat of the semi final of the Norman Wright cup that Willington won 3-2. Barnard Castle FC await the winners in the final.
Middlestone Moor moved to within a point of leaders Willington with a game in hand in beating Stanhope SSC 6-1. Stanhope's best chances came early on but Middlestone Moor took control to lead 3-0 at half time. It was 5-0 before Ian Peadon bagged what proved to be a consolation for the visitors. Ross Morrow notched a hat trick for Middlestone Moor with further goals courtesy of Aaron Jackson, Josh Farlow and Adam Watson.
Heighington opened up a 5 point lead at the top of division two with a 6-1 win at Stanley Town. Martin Butterworth bagged a hat trick and further Heighington goals came from Sean Carr, Jack McKay and Shane Dodson. Liam Ridley reduced the deficit.
