Penalties in three quarter finals.

Heighington, Middlestone Moor, Stanhope SSC and Willington WMC all won through to the semi final of the Norman Wright Memorial Trophy.
Second division Heighington gained an excellent 4-2 win at home to Evenwood Town. Sean Carr (2), Ryan Mercer and Jamie Williams-Hudson were the Heighington marksmen with Evenwood replying through Gareth McMahon and Chris Howe.
Extra time was needed at Middlestone Moor after the sides were level 2-2 after ninety minutes. Ellis Codd and Willis White scored for Middlestone Moor with Ferryhill responding through Jonathan Smith and Steven Clough. Middlestone Moor won the shoot out 4-3.
Goals from Callum Blades and Scott Hutchinson saw Wolsingham lead twice at Stanhope but it was all square at full time with Stanhope equalisers courtesy of Ben Shuttleworth and Sam Green. The penalty shoot out went to Stanhope 3-1. There was praise for ref Simon Fell from Clem while Stanhope's Dean Tinkler said "Wolsingham were very good particularly in the first half".
Penalties were also needed at Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph after the tie with Willington WMC ended 1-1 with Broden Forster scoring for the home side. Willington won the shootout 4-3.
In the first division the Barnard Castle derby ended in a resounding 6-0 win for the FC over Glaxo Rangers. Scorers were Rob Dixon (2), Lewis Robinson, Tom Merryweather, Rob West and Sam Hodgson.
In division two there was a first win for Stanley Town who overcame Wynyard The Stables 2-1. Kieran Wailes bagged both goals for Stanley.
