Our thanks to Clem for the match information.
Today's game at Barnard Castle brought an end to Chris Geddes's long association with Evenwood Town. "From player to manager over 25 years" he told the column. League president Maurice Galley said "Chris has been a credit to Evenwood and the league. A real football man". Unfortunately he ended on a losing note with Barnard Castle winning 5-0 through Tom Merryweather, Oliver Ross, Rob Dixon, Lewis Robinson and Sam Bolton.
The Easter Monday Colin Waites Final at Tow Law (kick off 11am) will be between Ferryhill and Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph after the latter beat Wolsingham 4-2 today. Ryan Peart, Jake Cain, Jack Mitchell and an own goal saw Telegraph through to their second final while Wolsingham responded through Tyler Hutchinson and Anthony White.
