Barney and Telegraph book final

The final of the South Durham Charity Bowl will feature Barnard Castle FC and Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph after both came through tricky away ties today.
Barnard Castle made the trip to Middlestone Moor and gained an excellent 4-3 win. Lewis Robinson, Josh Bousefield, Tom Merryweather and Oliver Ross booked Barney's final place while Middlestone Moor replied through Ellis Codd, Aaron Jackson and Joe Charlton.
Second division Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph were 2-1 winners at Stanhope SSC. The visitors led 2-0 at half time through Ryan Peart and Mason Steed and though Stanhope hit the bar, they had to wait till the 85th minute before Danny Wright bagged a consolation. "It could have gone either way today" said Telegraph's Declan Middleton".
