Barnard Castle hold leaders
After an excellent cup win over Middlestone Moor last weekend, Barnard Castle FC followed up with a goal less draw at league leaders Willington WMC today. Reports indicate that Willington had the better chances but Barney held out for a share of the spoils.
Middlestone Moor moved up to second with a 5-0 win at home to Barnard Castle Glaxo Rangers. Willis White bagged a hat trick with further goals courtesy of Ross Morrow and Scott Maughan.
Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory at home to Crook Wanderers. Reed Molloy, Glenn Hendrix, Mason Steed and Zach Barrigan scored the goals that moved Telegraph up one place in the table. Wanderers response came from Dave Mahan.
