The privacy of your personal information is important to us. We are committed to providing a registration service that is safe, secure, and trustworthy. We promise:

For Playing members:
• Full Name
• Residential address and Postcode

For Team Officials:

For League Officials:
• Full Name
• Residential address and Postcode

How the law protects you
Your privacy is protected by law. The Data Protection law says that we are allowed to use personal information only if we have a proper reason to do so. This includes sharing it outside of the Crook and District League for the reasons stated in this guidance. The law says we must have one or more of these reasons:
• To fulfil a contract we have with you, or
• When it is our legal duty, or
• When it is in our legitimate interest, or
• When you consent to it.
A legitimate interest is when we have a legitimate reason to use your information in respect of Registration, Insurance, Publicity and Communication. By completing a Player Registration Form and/or a Team Registration form, you are consenting to our guidance, agreeing to and sanctioning our legitimate reason.
We use your personal information to contact you for administrative, governance or disciplinary reasons. When contacting you for such purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, SMS/text messages, postal mail, and via mobile push notifications.

CROOK AND DISTRICT LEAGUE DATA PROTECTION POLICY

The new Data Protection Law comes into force on the 25th May 2018.
This notice sets out most of your rights under the new laws. The Crook and District League will implement the new procedures from 25 May 2018 when changes come into effect.
This privacy notice is to let you know how the Crook and District League will look after your personal information. This includes what you tell us about yourself, what we learn from your team secretary or club representative. This notice explains how we do this and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Where we collect personal information from
We collect and store personal information about you, from you, or from your team secretary or club representative when you register as a playing member or official of a team in the Crook and District League.
Who we share your personal information with
For those players who register with teams in the Crook and District League your information will be held and stored by the League Registration Secretary and where appropriate shared with the League Secretary to carry out the duties of their role. We will share your personal information with your affiliated County Football Association (Durham FA ) and with the Insurance Company providing Player Personal Accident Insurance. We will also share your information with your own team league representative. Players names will be disclosed and shared between team officials for fixture recording purposes (team sheets) and with the Match Official where appropriate.
We will share Team Officials contact details with other Team Officials so that fixtures can be confirmed. This particular data will be displayed on the league website and in the league Handbook. We will also publicise names in match reports on the league website.

Your Rights
All data subjects have the right to:
• Request access to your personal data
• Request rectification of the personal data that we hold about you.
• Request erasure of your personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
• Object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing, or where we are processing on the grounds of a legitimate interest of that interest is overridden by your rights and freedoms.
• Request restriction of processing of your personal data while we establish the data's accuracy, or verify an overriding interest to object to processing; where our use of the data has been unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; where you need us to hold the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.
• Complain at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).
