Durham FA have renamed two County Cups in memory of two stalwarts of local football.
The Challenge Cup is newly named the Frank Pattison Durham Challenge Cup while the Minor Cup is now the Bob Strophair Durham Minor Cup.
Frank, a former president of the Crook and District League and Weardale Cup, went on to serve as president of the Durham Football Association for 31 years. He also served as vice chairman of the FA at national level.
Bob served local football for over 50 years. Another DFA man, he was a former secretary of the Auckland District League, Auckland Charity Cup and South Durham Charity Bowl.
