Willington set the pace

Willington remain top and unbeaten following a 5-1 win at home to Glaxo Rangers. Crotcher (3), Brown and Wilks were the Willington scorers. Jack Lee replied for Glaxo Rangers.
Middlestone Moor maintained second spot with a 3-0 win at Evenwood Town. Mykel Summerson bagged a pair with Josh Farlow completing the Middlestone Moor score sheet.
Two sides from adjacent dales met at Stanhope where the SSC defeated Barnard Castle FC 3-2. Sam Green notched a hat trick for the victors including two penalties. Barnard Castle responded through Phil Merryweather and Sam Hodgson.
Wolsingham top division two following a 4-1 win at Wynyard. A Wolsingham win had looked unlikely when they had a player sent off on the half hour but goals from Jake McKellar, Scott Hutchinson, Mick Stothard and Callum Blades secured the points. Peter Harborough scored for Wynyard.
The match between Heighington and Ferryhill was abandoned with Ferryhill leading 3-1 through Brad Wilkinson (2) and Richard Brown. Sean Carr replied for Heighington.
Crook Wanderers picked up their second league win in beating Stanley Town 8-0. Danny Smith and Adam Blair both bagged hat tricks for Wanderers with further goals from Ste Kyle and Ben Richardson. Goal of the game? Smith's cracking 35 yarder that completed his hat trick.
