Masons Win Takes Them Top

Middlestone Moor Masons Arms picked up their first win with a narrow 4-3 victory at Barnard Castle Glaxo Rangers. Ross Morrow (2), Codd and Aaron Jackson were on target for the victors with Glaxo responses courtesy of Jamie McDougall (2) and David Patterson.
Evenwood remain unbeaten following a 1-1 draw at home to Stanhope SSC. Calum Crook gave Evenwood an early lead but Stanhope were level at the break through Ian Peadon. Both sides had chances in the second half of a tight feisty game but there were no further goals.
Darlington Deacon top division two on goal difference following a 3-0 win at Catchgate Community FC. Josh Ward (pen) and a brace from Charlie Welsh made it two wins from two for the Deacon.
Ferryhill picked up their second league win in beating Crook Wanderers 6-1 away, Scorers for the victors were Brad Wilkinson (2), Billy Snaith, David Gibson, David Whitehead and Liam Wright.
Wolsingham are also on maximum points following a narrow 2-1 victory at Heighington. Connor Ward and Dagan Taylor scored in Wolsingham's second away win while Sean Carr bagged the Heighington consolation.
Newcomers Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph picked up their first victory in beating Bishop Pavilion 5-2 away. Jack Mitchell, Reed Molloy, Anthony Harrison, Alex Pyle and Ryan Peart were the Telegraph marksmen. Kian Thompson and Adam Moffat netted for Pavilion.
