SIX THROUGH IN MINOR CUP

Middlestone Moor have been runners up for the past two years and they reached the last sixteen with a 7-2 victory over Sunderland Hylton CW. Masons scorers were Ross Morrow (2), Niall Short (2), Aaron Jackson, Anthony Philipson and Alex Cantwell.
Stanhope Town lost a close encounter with Durham City Jnrs Firsts 1-0. The only goal of the game came mid way through the second half and though they pressed hard Stanhope were unable to bag an equaliser.
Barnard Castle Glaxo Rangers won through on penalties at Gateshead Redheugh Blacks. It finished 1-1 after ninety minutes with Jamie McDougall on target for Glaxo who then took the spotkicks 4-2.
Penalties were also required at Shotton where Willington WMC were the visitors. It was goal less at full time but Shotton won the shoot out 4-3.
Bishop Pavilion were another side to lose out to penalties. Aiden Lowes, Dale Dunn and Andrew Robinson saw Pavilion level 3-3 on 90 minutes at Gateshead Rutherford Res but they went on to lose the pens 4-3.
Crook Wanderers went down 0-3 at home to Sunderland Doxford Park.
Will Preston and Ashley Murphy were on target for Evenwood Town who lost 7-2 at Shildon Reserves.
Darlington Deacon are through following a 3-2 victory at Durham Utd Reserves. Deacon marksmen were Dec Brown, Josh Ward and Jo Betteridge.
Joe Young bagged the consolation for Newton Aycliffe Royal Telegraph who lost 2-1 at Washington Reserves.
Heighington hopes ended in a 5-1 defeat at holders Hebburn Town Under 23's. Shane Dodson netted for Heighington.
Rob Dixon bagged a hat trick for Bowes in a resounding 10-0 victory over Hetton Jnr. Tommy Hutchinson and Oliver Ross both scored twice with further goals courtesy of Tom Merryweather, Paul Taylor and Adam Lee-Shield.
Wolsingham returned to form with an 8-0 win at Blackhill and Ebchester. Dagan Taylor (3), Connor Ward (2), Scott Hutchinson, Steven Alderson and Ryan Readman were the scorers.
Shildon Railway, winners in 2019, became the first side to go through when opponents Felling Magpies forfeited the game.
The only scheduled league game between Langley Moor Station and Ferryhill was postponed due to Covid.
